When I went to the local court house I was thinking I would find suits against Skyler Pools but instead I found a current lawsuit of them suing a present customer for non payment.
The case is a civil matter case number 2016CA000978, Skyler Pools and Spa v. Erika Regan and Paul Regan. The case concerns a residence in Wellington. It was filed on January 29th 2016.
Skyler is suing for over $100,000.00.
The clerk told me that there might be other suits concerning this company in other counties but their machines only do our county. Skyler is based in Coconut Creek that is in another county (Broward).
Also, I checked the Better Business Bureau (BBB) website.
Skyler Pools & Spas, Inc. is BBB-accredited. However, customers have submitted 12 complaints in the past 3 years about Skyler. Three of them are warranty issues and nine of them are problems with product/service.
Three complaints were resolved to the customer’s satisfaction. Nine complaints were answered by Skyler but the answers were not accepted by the customer or the customer did not respond.
